A LOOK AHEAD FOR 2022 (Facebook Cover)

What’s to come?

When I started writing the history blog for the Williamson Families PAC, I wanted to share some of the history that makes Williamson County a unique place to live.  As a native to the county, it was important to me that I share the things with you that contributed to how we got to where we are today, and why I love this place so much.  The blog was written for our newcomers, but also for our locals that might not know the stories that make us who we are.  As a new year starts, I would love for you to continue on this journey with me as I share moments in our history that define us as a county–things that put us on the map, so to speak.  In February, for black history month, we will be looking at the black history of Williamson County, the good, the bad and the ugly.  It is so important to learn all aspects of history in order to see the full picture.  Throughout the remainder of the year, we will learn about the founding families of Williamson County, the fourth cornerstone, notable citizens of the past, and the history of our communities. I want to teach you about the events in the county throughout our past that have made national news; there are many.  So, I encourage you to stick with me.  Many of these stories, you may have never heard, stories that dive deep into our county’s foundation.
